The Event
‘Manifest: The Future of Supply Chain & Logistics’ ran February 9 to 11 at The Venetian Expo. Stephane spoke on stage on February 11th in the Expo Hall.
He opened with the failures operators deal with every day: stockouts, shrink, split shipments, excess inventory and labor in the wrong place. Most teams already know what these problems are. The challenge is scale and speed. There are too many signals for people to work through by hand, so patterns across sites and SKUs get missed, repeat failures get written off as isolated incidents, and the costly ones surface too late.
Stephane then showed Beamup's AI agents working through a live example: finding a failure, tracing its root cause with evidence across systems, and taking the corrective action.
What we heard on the floor
Between the session and the Beamup booth, the team spoke with retailers and manufacturers all week. One line came up again and again: "I know something is wrong. I just can't move fast enough to fix it."
As Stephane put it after the event, the new battleground is action and correction, not detection. By the time a failure shows up in a report, the customer has already felt it.
Thank you to everyone who joined the session and stopped by the booth, and to KOMPAS VC for their support throughout the event.
A question to take back to your team
Stephane closed his post-event reflections with a question for supply chain leaders: is your team spending more time finding problems or fixing them?
If the answer is "finding", we would be glad to show you what changes when the agents do the fixing.
